Dr. Sreenivasa Rao Jammalamadaka receives IISA Lifetime Achievement Award
Distinguished Professor Sreenivasa Rao Jammalamadaka, the founding chair of the Department of Statistics at UC Santa Barbara, has been awarded the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Indian Statistical Association (IISA). The award recognizes his pioneering contributions to statistical science, exceptional scholarship, and decades of leadership and mentorship in the profession. Dr. Jammalamadaka will formally receive the award at the 2026 International Indian Statistical Association Conference in Varanasi, India.
