The Advanced Study Program at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, CO is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications from students and the NCAR scientific staff for our Graduate Visitor Program (GVP) and for our newly launched GVP Bridge Program.  Applications due Nov 10 & 30 2021

ASA's Committee on Career Development
In 2021, ASA CCD is offering a series of webinars and panels "Along Your Career Path in Statistics and Data Science"
  • First offering in April: "Early Career and the Job Search Process".  Recording available on the blog
  • June 11 2021: "Career Next-Steps and Promotions". Professionals from academia, industry, and government- including two ENVR executive board members - will discuss topics like how to position yourself for advancement; critical technical skills and power skills; leadership; sponsorship and mentorship, and career path changes.  Registration open.
 ASA CCD  will be hosting a Virtual Guided Networking Session at this year's Virtual JSM.  This networking social provides an opportunity for students and early career statisticians to practice meeting and greeting in a friendly environment.  JSM registration encouraged but not required.
