2024 ENVR Workshop

The ENVR 2024 Workshop: Spatial Data Science for the Environment is the biannual meeting of the Statistics and the Environment Section of the American Statistical Association, to be held in Boulder, CO, on October 3-5, 2024. The ENVR 2024 workshop aims to: (i) foster interdisciplinary research collaboration by encouraging idea sharing and discussions on future directions in environmental statistics and data science; (ii) serve as a platform to introduce innovative methods/concepts in the field; and (iii) nurture young talent in the area of environmental statistics through short courses and a student data competition. Scientific sessions during the workshop will concentrate on data science and statistical methodologies relevant to environmental issues with societal implications. These sessions will cover vital contemporary topics, including statistical approaches for [specific topic]; and delve into significant modern subjects, [additional topic]. Within each session, scientists will present cutting-edge methods tailored to address the statistical complexities associated with environmental data.
