Scholastic Council

In the past, the NC ASA has formed a Scholastic Council to facilitate communication and coordinate activities between the Chapter and North Carolina schools, colleges and universities.  Each institution is invited to have a Faculty Contact and a Student Representative on the council.  The Faculty Contact will simply serve as a liaison to the NC-ASA Executive Board.  The Student Representative will have the opportunity to participate with the Executive Board in organizing student activities and sit on the Council of Student Representatives, which will provide the student an opportunity to work with the Board and contribute to its function.  High school faculty and students are also encouraged to participate.  Faculty, please contact the NC-ASA President Becky McNeil at rmcneil@rti.org if you are interested in participating.  Interested students should first coordinate with faculty in their home department, but are welcome to contact NC ASA directly as well.
