Thanks to funding from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, the NC State Data Science Consulting Program is excited to announce honoraria to help cover conference travel expenses for selected people who give a conference presentation on data science consulting programs in higher education.
Each honorarium will be $1500 after taxes.
Eligibility requirements are an accepted and relevant academic conference abstract and a completed presentation at a conference. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis from now at least through January 2025 and evaluated on their expected impact of advancing the scholarly conversation on data science and statistical consulting in higher education. If approved, the honorarium will be paid as soon as the conference is over and the presentation is complete.
