JSM is just around the corner now. I'm looking forward to meeting you and discussing your ideas for the continued growth and health of our section. In addition to the upcoming talks and posters, we want to hear your ideas and learn from you, especially on two initiatives (see meet-up times below):
- How can our Section and the Executive Committee better serve consultants?
- Continued discussion of establishing a written forum devoted to the practice
Award Announcement
Please join me in congratulating Jennifer Van Mullekom for receiving the Outstanding Mentor Award in recognition of her exceptional and steadfast mentorship of students, trainees, and colleagues in the practice.
Beth Chance was awarded the Best Topic Contributed Session Award for the upcoming JSM session titled: "Are There Purposeful 'Lies' We Can Tell our Intro Students to Improve Understanding". Please congratulate Beth for her ongoing commitment to our community, statistical education, and the practice.
