    Posted 01-14-2023 10:14

At the end of 2023, after 17 years of outstanding service, Fabrizio Ruggeri will step down from his position as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry (ASMBI).    Dan Jeske, the president of the International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics (ISBIS), has appointed a committee to seek Professor Ruggeri's replacement:  David Banks, Bill Meeker, Fabrizio Ruggeri, Galit Shmueli, and Bill Woodall.

ASMBI is the flagship journal of ISBIS. It publishes high quality papers that show innovative stochastic modelling, good mathematics, and sound applications or the potential for application in business or industry.  The ASMBI website is: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/15264025

The term for the Editor-in-Chief is three years, and may be renewed.  Candidates should have prior editorial experience, at least as an associate editor for a well-regarded journal, and they should be an established researcher in business and/or industrial statistics.

The Editor-in-Chief search committee solicits nominations and self-nominations for that office.  Please send the nominee's curriculum vitae and nomination letter to David Banks at banks@stat.duke.edu by April 15, 2023.  If anyone has any questions about the duties, please direct those to David Banks at the same address.
