Dear Consulting Section Members:
As 2010 Program Chair for the Section on Statistical Consulting, I am responsible for putting together the program for our section at the 2011 Joint Statistical Meetings in Miami Beach, FL from July 30 through August 4, 2012. This year our Section will have three invited sessions but may also compete with other sections for additional invited sessions. The deadline for submission of invited sessions is September 8 (11:59 PM ET). For the purposes of the competition for the invited sessions, we will need the following:
1) Session title
2) Organizer name and contact information
3) Session chair name and contact information
4) Speaker names and contact information
5) Session type (paper or panel)
6) Abstracts (one for a panel or one for each paper)
7) Discussants' (if any) names and contact information
The Section's Executive Committee will decide which proposals will be selected for our Section's three invited session spots. All others will be converted into topic contributed sessions. There is no limit to the number of topic contributed sessions we can sponsor.
Roundtables: Jonathon Mahnken will be in charge of the Section's Roundtables for 2010 (Breakfast as well as Luncheon).
