I am tasked with providing leaders for the 2013 JSM SPES Roundtables. I encourage SPES section members to consider organizing a roundtable for JSM 2013. A roundtable (free breakfast or lunch for the organizer!) is a great way to meet others with similar interests, and the small size (10 or less) produces some fascinating discussions. This is a good forum to bring forth issues in which you are interested. Please note that leading a roundtable does NOT prohibit you from participating in other JSM activities (giving a formal presentation, in particular). Deadline for abstract submissions is February 2nd, so act soon.
The conference details are:
August 3 - 8, 2013
Montréal, Québec, Canada, Palais des congrès de Montréal

Are you interested or do you know a statistician that will be at JSM 2013 that may be a fit and possibly interested in running a SPES roundtable?
