    Hello All,

We are looking for some part-time statistical help for occasions when we can't handle all of the work that comes in. It is likely that the workload would average 10-20 hours/week, but it will not be even. There will be times with no activity and other times (usually a short period) with 30-40 hours of activity in a single week.  The pay would be on an hourly basis. This person would not have any business or administrative duties other than turning in an accurate timesheet. You would work out of your home with your own computer and software.

We need someone with a master's degree in statistics or biostatistics and at least three years of employment in statistical practice. Also required: solid working knowledge of statistical computing in R, SAS, or STATA, ability to write clearly in English, U.S. citizenship or a visa that allows you to work in the USA. Desirable qualifications (but not required): ability to converse clearly in English; residence within two hours of Seattle; ability in multiple statistical languages. Our firm's style is to have quite a lot of live contact (by phone and/or meetings), so it is not an "email-only" collaboration.

The majority of our work is biomedical, but we also do environmental, legal and other types of work. We enjoy our work and we are looking for someone who would also enjoy it. Our web site is: http://mwlight.com/

Respond by email with a cover letter and resume to info@mwlight.com.

Please forward this notice to others.

    Thank you very much,

    Nayak
