The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Central Oklahoma invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in statistics or pure or applied mathematics starting August 5, 2013. ABD applicants will be considered if conferral is expected by August 1, 2013.
Duties include teaching day/evening classes, graduate/undergraduate courses, scholarly activities, and service. University teaching experience is required and preference will be given to applicants engaged in teaching and research in statistics. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
Representatives from the Personnel Committee will be attending the Joint Math Meetings in January. Screening will begin January 18, 2013 and continue until the position is filled.
