Hi Janet,
Yes, that does help, thanks. Some others have pointed out the same, privately. I'm going to focus more on getting my contract in shape. I think as I take on more clients with similar SAP's (I work mostly with nonrprofits and public health) I can re-use headings and certain descriptions, as you suggested. When I first started 2 months ago, I had great plans to streamline everything so I can focus more on the actual work. Now, I'm finding that each client is so unique that I'm using forms more as a tool for relationship-building (i.e. to help the client figure out what they need) rather than efficiency. Oh well, live and learn . . .again!
Thanks so much for your feedback,
Pam

Subject: Template for a Proposed Analysis Plan form?
Hi Pamela:
It is important to separate the "contract" from the "deliverables". We establish the general relationship in categories of activities with costs associated (e.g. client contact, data cleaning, modelling, table templates production etc.) - the contract. This definitely varies by client and project, but there are common re-usable elements. The actual analysis plan is a mutually dervived document that I think can have set headings, but our work is primarily pharma and the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) is well established and understood.
I hope this helps a bit.
