I have a full time job and do my share of private consulting on the side along with part time teaching publishing journal articles and writing books. It may sound like a lot but I manage without working 16 hour days regularly. The consulting work can be sporadic but there are occasions when consulting can keep me very busy and I have to put in a lot of time working for a few weeks to get everything done.
