Hello, all,
As you've likely noticed, many members recently experienced their discussion group settings switching from "Daily Digest" (which emails you a roundup of conversations once a day) to "Real-Time" (which sends you an individual email with each new contribution to a discussion group).
I apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused! I've been working with technical support today to track down why this happened and how we can switch it back for all of you who were affected. Right now, I'm correcting members' subscriptions individually, as you contact me.
If you would like to help me collect information on the issue or would like to correct your subscription settings manually, please click on the link below to watch a short video showing you how to navigate to your discussion group subscription settings (the steps in the video are typed out below the link):

Steps:
1. Visit community.amstat.org.
2. Click on the "Sign In" button at the top right. (If you see a photo or grayed-out silhouette at the top right instead of the "Sign In" button, skip to Step 4.)
3. Log in using the username and password you use to log in to amstat.org. You will be redirected back to community.amstat.org.
4. Click on the gray down arrow next to your photo (or grayed-out silhouette, if you have not uploaded your photo--if you'd like to upload a photo, just ask and I can show you how!) in the top right.
5. Click on the gray "Profile" button.
6. Click on the "My Account" tab on your profile.
7. Click on "Community Notifications" from the drop-down menu that appears.
8. Scroll down to see your discussion group subscription settings. If they are set to Real-Time where you would prefer Daily Digest, click on Daily Digest.
9. If you are unable to make changes to your discussion group subscription settings, or if you make changes and they revert when you log out and log back in or leave the page, let me know right away. Email me at lara@amstat.org.
