    Hello Everyone,

The Committee on Applied Statistics would like to invite statisticians to write a Master's Notebook article for the Amstat News publication. The purpose of the Master's Notebook is to showcase and promote statisticians with a Master's degree. The author could be someone with a Master's, completing a Master's, working with people with a Master's or teaching Master's students.

The articles are published each month and range from 300 to 3000 words, with the majority in the 500 to 800 word range. Past notebook articles can be found at

If you're interested in writing an article for Master's Notebook send an e-mail directly to me, chuck.kincaid@experis.com, expressing your interest and some info on what you'd like to talk about.

I know there's a lot of brilliant people in the section and I look forward to seeing your ideas.
