It is my pleasure to announce the call for student and junior faculty awards for the 2016 Association of Clinical and Translational Statisticians (ACTStat) Annual Meeting. This meeting will be held in Chicago, IL on July 30-31 just prior to the Joint Statistical Meetings.
These awards recognize junior faculty and students studying statistical problems relevant to clinical and translational science. The association will select one junior faculty member and one student to present invited talks, each 30 minutes in duration, at the annual meeting.
Deadline for submission is April 25, 2016.

In way of background, the 2016 ACTStat Annual Meeting provides an excellent opportunity to network with researchers interested in enhancing the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical and translational studies. Highlights of the 2016 ACTStat meeting will include:

- Panel on how to put together a comprehensive biostatistics core
