    Dear All,

    You are invited to attend the 2nd Trends and Innovations in Clinical Trial Statistics conference, a forum where presenters and panelists will discuss the current trends, innovation, and needs in clinical trial statistics. The conference will take place at Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham, North Carolina on May 1-4, 2016.

    The keynote presentations will be given by distinguished speakers:

    Robert M. Califf, MD, Deputy Commissioner for Medical Products and Tobacco, US Food and Drug Administration: “Regulatory Trials and Other Trials: A False Dichotomy?"

    David Madigan, PhD, Executive Vice-President for Arts and Sciences, Dean of the Faculty, Professor of Statistics, Columbia University: “Large Observational Healthcare Studies: Challenges, Pitfalls, and Future Directions”

    Stephen J. Ruberg, PhD, Distinguished Research Fellow, Scientific Leader, Advanced Analytics, Eli Lilly: “Making What’s Advanced Today Routine Tomorrow”.

    The conference will feature presentations by well-known experts from FDA CDER, CBER, and CDRH, European and US Universities, and biopharmaceutical industry on key topics in clinical trial statistics including discussions on statistical challenges and opportunities for innovation.

    The conference registration is open now. The early bird registration fees are: $550 (industry), $500 (ASA member), $300 (academia), $275 (government), and $150 (students). The registration fees include breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks on May 2-3, breakfast on May 4 and the mixer on Monday May 2. A block of rooms is being held for conference participants at a reduced rate of $140.00 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center.
