    WSU seeks applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health.

    Primarily, the purpose of this position is to be a Collaborative Biostatistician, working with Boonshoft School of Medicine faculty, residents, fellows, and students in conducting research.

    Secondarily, there are teaching functions within the context of collaboration, as well as potential for more formal teaching.

    Required: Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related discipline, completed or to be completed prior to July 1, 2016, and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience (experience obtained before completion of PhD may be acceptable); Breadth and depth of knowledge of statistical methodology and applied statistics; Evidence of productivity resulting from previous collaborative research (e.g., participation in producing a grant application, abstract, poster, presentation, published manuscript, report, or other product); Expertise in R and/or SAS.

    To qualify for Assistant Professor rank candidate must meet the minimum qualifications listed above. For Associate Professor rank is commensurate with experience and demonstrated scholarship.
