I was asked by someone of based on my long industrial experience I could contribute additional quality checks to the diiscussion. Quite frankly others who have commented also have vast experience and have provided the important methods that are used in industry. I don't have anything else to contribute other than to say sadly it is not my habit to do a lot of checking with regard to my consulting work. Of course when I worked at big pharma and an FDA submission was involved I had SAS programmers checking each other and me checking them to the extent that I could.
