OHSU is committed to community service to improve the health and well-being of all Oregonians and people around the world.  We are currently recruiting for a master's level staff biostatistician (Research Associate) to join our Biostatistics Shared Resource (BSR) team within the Knight Cancer Institute.

     The Knight Cancer Institute at OHSU is an international leader in cancer research and precision treatment. The institute's director, Brian Druker, M.D., helped usher in the era of precision cancer medicine with research that led to the breakthrough drug Gleevec®.  The institute is the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Cancer Center between Sacramento and Seattle - an honor earned only by the nation's top cancer centers.

     The Biostatistics Shared Resource consists of PhD faculty and MS level staff biostatisticians who provide biostatistics support to basic, clinical and population cancer scientists. We believe in collaboration and team science, and work as a team to support all stages of cancer research project. OHSU has a vibrant and open biostatistics community for faculty and staff. BSR faculty has an academic appointment in a new School of Public Health, and our staff biostatisticians regularly interact with staff biostatisticians in other research and consulting units at OHSU.

     OHSU is located in beautiful Portland, Oregon, which has been proclaimed as one of the top 10 "New American Dream Towns" by Outside Magazine.  The city is within 90 minutes of both the mountains and the coast and is home to vibrant neighborhoods, numerous parks and renowned restaurants as well as a lively music and arts scene.
