I am collecting historical materials and preparing a poster on the history of our ASA Statistical Consulting Section for our 175th anniversary.This is to invite all members to reminisce about how our Section started, its contributions to statistical consulting, and any anecdotes you would like to tell.
I have a near-complete set of copies of the newsletter, which will be posted on our microsite at an appropriate time by our webmaster. However, I do not have any of the founding documents. If you have any documents that you would like to put in our archives, you can send them to me at the address below. I will pdf them and then send the originals on to ASA for the paper archives.
