    Position Title: Senior Faculty Researcher

    Duties and Responsibilities: The Department of Biostatistical Sciences, Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC invites applications for a Senior Faculty or Senior Staff position. We are looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial researcher who will have leadership opportunities in a newly forming Academic Research Organization (ARO) at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. In addition, the successful candidate will take an active role in building and marketing the ARO. Experience with the conduct of clinical trials at all phases and previous collaborations with industry partners are required. Previous experience with regulatory submissions to the FDA or other national regulatory agencies is preferred for this position. An advanced degree (Masters/Doctoral level) and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Duties include collaboration with industry, protocol development, study design, and project and/or ARO budgeting. Opportunities for teaching will also be available. Appointment will be made as a Senior Faculty member or Senior Staff member depending on qualifications of the successful candidate.
