Social & Scientific Systems, Inc. is looking for a senior statistician to lead an experienced group of statisticians, bioinformaticians, biomathematicians and epidemiologists. The group is broadly motivated by questions about how environmental exposures adversely affect human health. We aim to translate the scientific interests of our clients into efficient study designs and informative data analyses while fostering the professional development of group members in a mutually respectful environment.
A Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience is required. The successful candidate will work on multiple projects simultaneously and should enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment with quantitative and life scientists. Well-developed oral and written communication skills are essential to sustaining the high level of teamwork necessary for effective collaboration within the Health Sciences Research group as well as with external clients. A commitment to fostering the professional development of colleagues is expected.
