This message has been cross posted to the following eGroups: Biopharmaceutical Section and Statistical Consulting Section .

Dear colleagues, The background- I'm a member of both the ASA and "ISPOR" (International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research www.ispor.org ).

FYI - Before (cross-) posting here I alerted the section chairs for Biopharm  / Statistical Consulting/Biometrics that I am looking for a few volunteers .

I (and others at ISPOR) recently received a request  from an ISPOR SIG (special interest group) to review and comment on a "good practices" guideline for assessing prospective observational studies. The document is ultimately intended for use by Health  Care Decision makers

I will be providing comments to the ISPOR Sig on the document.

I'd be glad to have input from colleagues at ASA.  Please send me an email offline at (chris.barker@barkerstats.com) if you would have time to review and comment on the document. (I am not posting the document here). I will assemble comments and forward to the ISPOR SIG.

    thanks in advance.
