Dear members of CNSL (Stat Consulting Section):
For the next two weeks, poster abstract submission is open for the Third Annual ASA Conference on Statistical Practice (CSP) in Tampa, Florida on February 20-22, 2014.
http://www.amstat.org/meetings/csp/2014/abstracts.cfm This is a great conference that's relatively cozy (~400 attendees or so) and entirely focused on the practice of statistics rather than on the theory and abstract methods of statistics. There are four themes to the conference: Communication, Impact, and Career Development (of which consulting and collaboration is a sub-theme);
Data Modeling and Analysis; Big Data Prediction and Analytics; Software and Graphics. Posters are encourage in all themes, especially in the best practices for statistical consulting and collaboration!
The poster abstract submission deadline is August 29, 2013.
