Nominations sought for the W.J. Dixon Award for Excellence in Statisitcal Consulting
The award, funded by a gift from his family, honors the memory of Will Dixon by recognizing outstanding contributions to statistical consulting. This award will recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to advancing the science and art of statistical consulting or analysis. Each recipient will have demonstrated excellence in statistical consulting or have developed and contributed new methods, software, or ways of thinking for improving statistical practice in general. The award recipient receives a certificate and $1,000 check at the 2010 Joint Statistical Meetings.
