Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations at the Jamaica Statistics Symposium Conference and Workshop to be held from October 30 - November 1, 2013 in Kingston, Jamaica.
The conference welcomes submissions for oral and poster presentations from students, academics, data analysts, policy makers, and other practitioners in all sectors of society involved in the development of statistical methodology, analysis and management of data.
Your submission and presentation can be based on BUT NOT RESTRICTED TO the following topics:
§ The value of Data Collection
§ Safeguarding Data Quality
§ Data Analysis for the Pure and Applied Sciences
§ The impact of the Data Analysis on Policy Decisions
§ Data Management in Resource-Deprived Settings
§ Prevention of misinterpretation of Data Analysis results
§ Data Management and Analysis within the public and private sector
§ Any other application and/or use of statistical methodology
Please note that your submission is not limited to the above-mentioned topics and cross-disciplinary works are highly encouraged.
