I am emailing as the current Chair of the Statistical Interest Group in Medical Devices and Diagnostics (SIGMEDD). We are organizing to file with the ASA to transfer from a "special interest group" to a Section. In order to do this we need support from 100 ASA members that they would be interested in becoming a member of this new section.
We have created a petition for ASA members to sign. If you would be interested in supporting such a section we'd love to have your support. If you have signed a paper version in the past we'd appreciate signing up here as well.
