    Dear Statistical Consulting Community,

    Apologies for cross-posting.

    The Southern Regional Council on Statistics (SRCOS) 59th Summer Research Conference (SRC) will be held on June 3-5, 2024, at the Clemson Madren Conference Center in Clemson, SC. SRCOS is a consortium of statistics and biostatistics programs from 45 universities in 16 states in the Southern region, which sponsors the annual SRC conference. The purpose of SRC is to encourage the interchange and mutual understanding of current research ideas in statistics and biostatistics, and to provide motivation and direction for further research progress. The conference will be fully in-person. Please save the dates and forward them to those who are potentially interested in the event!

    ASA/Kutner Faculty and Graduate Student Poster Session: 12:15-1:30 pm

    The SRC will provide new researchers, including graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, isolated statisticians, and faculty from smaller regional schools in the southern region, an opportunity to participate by presenting their posters in the meeting and to interact closely with leaders in the field in a manner not possible at larger meetings.

    Poster abstract submission is open until Monday, April 15, 2024. Applications received by the deadline will automatically be considered for a travel award.

    The deadline for the travel award application for both junior/isolated faculty and graduate students has been extended to April 29, 2024.

    The SRC aims to provide new researchers, including graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, isolated statisticians, and faculty from smaller regional schools in the southern region, with an opportunity to participate by presenting their posters at the meeting and interacting closely with leaders in the field, which may not be possible at larger meetings.
