The United States Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS), the premier food and agricultural research Agency of USDA, is seeking a permanent full-time Statistician, GS-1530-12/13/14. The salary for this position is $79,363 to $144,976 per year, plus benefits. Salary listed is based on the "Rest of the United States" pay scale and may be adjusted upon selection. U.S. Citizenship is required.
The candidate chosen for this position will provide advice and assistance on agricultural and human nutrition research plan proposals, experimental designs, data analysis and interpretation of statistical results for research conducted by ARS research scientists located primarily in the Northeast U.S. The selectee is not required to report to a government office, however the option to have an office in one of the Agency locations may be available.
