Dear Section Members,

The ASA JEDI Outreach Group and Statistical Consulting Section are hosting a free joint quarterly webinar series on Navigating Difficult Conversations and Empowering Colleagues. We're inviting you to the first interactive webinar focusing on Student Practitioners.

Statistical practitioners, especially students, face difficult conversations in their interactions with their clients and collaborators. The topics of these conversations vary widely. There are no universal guidelines for navigating tough conversations. In this workshop, we engage with participants to effectively communicate with clients and customers when challenging topics or situations arise. 

Whether you're a student, recent graduate, or an experienced practitioner, we would love for you to join with questions for our experienced instructors or with strategies that you've found useful.

Date/Time: Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm EST (10 – 11:30 am PST)
