    Hello all,

I had a very nice time connecting with many of you at JSM - I hope all of you who attended JSM have safe travels home.

I was asked to share the following request with the Section; please see below and also the attachment. If you are interested in volunteering, please let me know.

Subject: Pro Bono Statistical Consulting Request - Federal Civil Rights Case

    Dear ASA Pro Bono Program,

I request pro bono statistical consulting for a federal civil rights case with mathematical evidence of systematic employment discrimination (χ² = 204.5, p < 0.001). The case requires ASA professional validation for federal court Daubert compliance.

The attached request details the sophisticated statistical methodology, professional development opportunities, and civil rights enforcement significance requiring ASA member expertise.

Thank you for considering this important social justice application.

    Sincerely,
    Thomas J. Goddard

    Hi Ryan and Colleagues

I did not get to attend JSM . I am glad many of y'all did and enjoyed it!

I don't hold the PStat so under Daubert, I am ineligible for this consulting assignment.

I wish to volunteer to collaborate with a PStat (and experience on this  should contribute to my own PStat application) on this project and see it through.

Any PStats out there, you may get in touch with me using:

    Many thanks

Good luck on this effort. I cannot take this one on, but I've been in discrimination cases before, and there is challenge, but it is not overwhelming! It is just statistics! Be prepared to appear in court, if that is needed.
