SENT ON BEHALF OF CHRIS BARKER:

    Dear Statistical Consulting Section members.

Please, if at all possible attend the ASA town hall today.

First, for this  posting, my  thank you to Rick for this "work around" due to a software bug in the community software.. I'm involved with the Helen Walker Society, hence the reminder below from Amanda Malloy and Ron Wasserstein.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One of Section initiatives  is to make sure  the section is aligned with the ASA Board objectives, policies  and goals regarding JEDI (Justice Equity Diversity inclusion). The Consulting section has a committee, organized by past Section chair, Manisha Desai about this.

The  Section  initiatives have been discussed with the section elected officers last week and I will announce those soon, after the software bug is repaired.

    • Please, if at all possible, attend the ASA town hall about the anti-racism task force a very  important objective of the ASA.

    Good Morning,

Because of the conversations we've had with many of you, we know that ASA's JEDI efforts are important to you. In case you have not seen Ron's recent ASA Connect Post regarding an upcoming town hall on ASA's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility Efforts, I am passing along the details below.

    Ron's post on ASA Connect:

The Antiracism Task Force convened by the ASA Board under the leadership of Wendy Martinez, Rob Santos, and Kathy Ensor made recommendations to our community. We are making progress on their recommendations and have engaged The Nova Collective (see the interview in the February President's Corner) to partner with us.

Please join us for a town hall on Thursday, February 23 at 4pm ET to learn more and provide your input on this important work. Register here.

    Thank you.

    Ron

Thank you for being a Helen Walker Society Member!

    Amanda
