The Section had a wonderful time at JSM in Boston earlier this month! One highlight was the contributed paper session "Bridging Statistical Methods and Practice: Tools and Techniques to Maximize Consulting and Collaborative Partnerships" (chaired by Sarah Schmiege), which included 6 great presentations. The section members and attendees voted for the best presentation, and the winner was Jett Palmer for "Designed For Impact: The Statistical Collaborator's Workflow" (co-authors: Eric Vance and Heather Smith). This was announced at the Section's Meeting and Mixer that had an awesome turnout of new and familiar faces. Looking forward to next year's JSM in Chicago.
