This email highlights CNSL-sponsored JSM presentations by date.  It would be great to see as many of you as possible at these sessions!  Note that there will be voting for the best contributed paper award at the Sunday 2-3:50 pm session (this will occur through QR code at the session).  Please let me know if I've missed any sessions here and I'll add them (and apologize in advance for any oversight) or please reply to the discussion if there are additional sessions of relevance to the section you'd like to highlight.  Also note that I don't yet have information on relevant poster presentations so I've reached out to ASA for this information and will update as I can. If you're presenting a poster that you want to highlight to section members, it would be great if you replied to this discussion.

If you're interested in international statistical collaboration, statistical consulting and collaboration laboratories, or strengthening statistical capacity around the world, I invite you to join my JSM roundtable:

WL02: Joining the LISA 2020 Global Network
Wednesday, August 5, 2026 | 12:30–1:50 PM
Joint Statistical Meetings, Boston, MA

The LISA 2020 Global Network currently connects 37 statistical collaboration laboratories in 11 developing countries, organized into six regional networks. At this year's JSM, we'll discuss the Network's continued growth and explore opportunities for statisticians, data scientists, and statistical collaboration laboratories from around the world to become involved.

While one focus of our discussion will be the launch of a North American regional network, the conversation is open to anyone interested in strengthening and expanding the LISA 2020 Global Network worldwide. Whether you're based in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, Oceania, or elsewhere, your ideas and experiences are welcome.

The Network offers opportunities to:

• Exchange ideas and best practices with other statistical collaboration laboratories.
• Develop meaningful international partnerships.
• Mentor and learn from colleagues across regions.
• Create collaborative research, education, and capacity-building initiatives.
• Expand opportunities for students and faculty to engage in impactful global work.

Over the past 14 years, we've learned a great deal about building sustainable statistical partnerships across countries and cultures. I'd love to share those lessons, hear about your experiences, and discuss how we can work together to shape the next phase of the LISA 2020 Global Network.

This will be an interactive discussion rather than a formal presentation. I'm especially interested in hearing participants' ideas about how we can strengthen the Network, foster new collaborations, and better support statistical practice worldwide.
