Hey folks,
Two sessions this week on AI tools:
1. Contextapalooza: AI needs context to perform well. So here are 11+ AI context files for data science work and the prompts to tune each one to your needs.
2. Claude Cowork for Data Scientists: I'll walk through the full setup for a data science workflow and hand over the starter files I use. Show up, leave with a working setup. (This is a re-screening of last week's webinar.)
Both are free and open to everyone.

ABSTRACT for Contextapalooza
Wednesday, May 27, 2026 | 2:00-3:00pm EDT
AI tools are hungry for context. The more they know about how you work, your data, and your projects, the better they perform. Building good context files from scratch takes way too much time, so in this session, I'm handing over a set I actually use, paired with the tailoring prompts to make each one yours. You go from zero to a working set in one session.
The session covers a range of context files for different parts of a data science workflow (global instructions, collaborator and project context, writing style, and more), each paired with a tailoring prompt you can run in any AI chat tool.
Attendees leave with Glen's AI context files and the tailoring prompts to make them their own.
This webinar is part of the AI Tools for Data Science & Stats series, sponsored by Polaris Data Labs and the ASA Section on Data Science and Statistical Learning.
Note: If you want to go further into Claude Code setup, check out our upcoming webinar: Claude Code for Data Scientists (June 4).
UPCOMING WEBINARS
[04] Contextapalooza
Like a T-shirt cannon at a sports event, except everyone gets something useful. 11+ AI context files for data science work and the prompts to tune each one to your needs.
[03b] Claude Cowork for Data Scientists (Re-screening)
Claude Cowork works way better when tuned to data science. I'll hand over the files, prompts, and architecture - and show you how to use them.
[05] Claude Code for Data Scientists
Claude Code runs a lot better once it knows your project structure, analysis workflow, and what you're trying to do. I'll show you my setup for building analysis, data science, and machine learning projects from scratch.
[06] An AI Setup for Data Science Consulting
Clients are asking for AI tools - and some are openly wondering if they still need you. I'll show you one Goldilocks setup where they get the benefit of your expertise and the ability to interrogate their data on demand.
[07] The Data Science Team of One
AI tools can act as a force multiplier for a solo data scientist. The key is being strategic about where you sit in the workflow and what actually gets multiplied. I'll show you what's worked for me.
PAST WEBINARS
[01] The AI Train Has Not Left the Station. (But Get On Board.)
The hardest part of using AI tools is taking the first step. Let's cut through the noise and get you started.
[02] Claude Code, Cowork, & Chat
If I had to pick just one AI tool, it would be Claude. But Claude is actually 3-in-1 - so let's walk through all of them.
[03] Claude Cowork for Data Scientists
Claude Cowork works way better when tuned to data science. I'll hand over the files, prompts, and architecture - and show you how to use them.
Hope to see you there!
