SENT ON BEHALF OF CHRIS BARKER:

    Dear Statistical consulting section members:

A potential consulting opportunity that require submitting an RFP

first. Thanks to Rick Peterson for posting this to our section bulletin board. There's a glitch in the software and I'm unable to post myself.

This potential consulting opportunities requires submitting an RFP . For Sacramento the RFP is due this weekend. The work for this project would occur in 2024.

And in advance I realize this is the metaphorical 11th hour late notice for this RFP.  and this RFP is specific to Sacramento, California. This is a follow up post . About a month or two ago I had posted to the section members about the point in time survey..

And this RFP is an example of a funding, opportunity for counting the homeless known as the "point in time" survey of the homeless "PIT" .funds ultimately from HUD -housing and urban development.

section members not living in the Sacramento area interested in these opportunities should , asap, look at their own county or nearest metropolitan county. The point in time survey is intended to carried out in every county in the United States, although no doubt with variation among counties in success and effectiveness of the count. And in particular for those interested, look for an entity called "continuum of care " that is a HUD Terminology
