The GWU Student Chapter of ASA recently hosted a highly engaging and informative panel event focused on preparing students for PhD admissions. Attended by a diverse group of undergraduates and master’s students, the session featured several esteemed professors who shared practical advice on selecting universities, crafting compelling applications, and securing funding opportunities. Attendees gained valuable insights into building a strong academic profile through thoughtful course selection and extracurricular involvement. Beyond admissions, the panel also addressed broader questions on academic pathways and career planning, making it a truly enriching experience for all. The event fostered meaningful connections between students and faculty, and left participants inspired and better equipped for their future academic journeys.
