Introduction:
GWU ASA Student Chapter R Club was established in 2015 with the help from faculties and students in Statistics department and it is open to all the GWU students. The R Club is run by students, and it works as a platform for students to share their interested R skills outside classes, and to improve R programming ability and presentation skill by learning and discussing together. Meanwhile, every semester R Club brings experienced statisticians from D.C. area companies to campus to hold a workshop, sharing knowledge and building up network with students.
Currently, R Club has meetings every 2 weeks in Friday, the topics are covered from introductions of R packages to application of R in real world problems. We hope to have more students join us and share the knowledge together, to make the R Club a place where everyone can contribute and harvest something valuable.
