Congratulations to the JSM 2021 TAIG Presentation Award Winners!

This year, the Text Analysis Interest Group held the best presentation competition among the 2021 JSM presentations on text analysis topics. 

Yeseul Jeon is a PhD student at Yonsei University. She investigated effective estimation and visualization of topic interactions in the context TAIG Competition Winners Describe Research of COVID-19 research. 

Tommy Jones is a PhD candidate at George Mason University, a senior member of the technology staff at In-Q-Tel, and vice president of Data Community DC. His research is on fine tuning Latent Dirichlet Allocation for transfer learning.

Congratulations to the winners! They will receive $500 and are invited to elaborate on their prize-winning research during an upcoming Data Science DC (DSDC) Meetup.
