History of Statistics Interest Group was chartered November 2017 (see Library\Official Documents). The
Petition Letter was sent to the Council of Sections Governing Board on September 8th along with
list of petitioners and
petitioner comments.
The first slate of officers included Wendy Martinez (Chair 2018), Amanda Golbeck (Chair-Elect 2018), Martha Rozsi (Program Chair 2018), Jeffrey Smith (Program Chair-Elect), and John McKenzie (Secretary 2018-19). Beverly Wood was the initial administrator for the IG's microsite in the ASA Community.
