Our meeting this year
will occur Monday-Wednesday, August
29-31, at the Centennial Hall
Convention Center in Juneau. Dr.
Margaret Short, Department of
Mathematics and Statistics at the University of
Alaska Fairbanks will be putting on a
short-course of approximately two days on the
general topic of spatial statistics.
On the third day of the meeting, Dr.
Robert N. Rodriguez current President-Elect of the American
Statistical Association, will be presenting a talk entitled It All
Starts with the Data: Recent Directions in SAS/STAT Software.
Additionally, there will be time set aside for member talks on the third
day, and our annual business meeting as well.
The 2-day short course on spatial statistics has reached
capacity, and as such registration has ‘officially’ closed for that
portion of our annual meeting, but you can check below for information
about registering for the third day of the meeting.
