The 2015 conference of the Alaska Chapter of the American Statistical Association will be held in Anchorage Alaska 25-27 August 2015.
The meeting features a workshop on Generalized Additive Models (GAM) by Dr. Simon Wood (University of Bath, UK). The conference will held at the Leslie Holland-Bartels meeting room in Glenn A. Olds Hall (4210 University Dr) on the campus of Alaska Pacific University.
A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at Spring Hill Suites Anchorage University Lake (4050 University Lake Dr) which is is half a mile from Glen Olds Hall by car, and about an eighth of a mile on foot (through an off leash dog park). The hotel meeting rate of $190.00 per night is good from 8/22-8/29, but you must book by 7/25 to take advantage of the rate.
