We would like to invite you to join the American Statistical Association’s (ASA) Transportation Statistics Interest Group (TSIG). TSIG is on its way to becoming an ASA section, and your participation will provide help to achieve this goal. As a TSIG member, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experts in transportation statistics, gain access to data and technical resources, network with future partners and employers, and participate in Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) meetings, TSIG activities such as conferences, workshops, and roundtable discussions in cooperation with various ASA sections. What is TSIG?
TSIG is a group of professionals, academics, researchers, policy and decision-makers, and practitioners with expertise and passion in transportation statistics. TSIG was established in 2002 and has evolved over the years, attracting interest from over 200 professionals. TSIG’s vision is to become a leading organization of experts involved in applying statistical methods to transportation-related issues.
