Dear TAIG members,
we will have an election of two officers this year, the 2022 Chair (Chair-Elect in 2021) and the 2022 Program Chair (Program Chair-Elect in 2021). The Chair is responsible for the "big picture" activities of the group, and for formal connections with the ASA (the group business meeting at the JSM, annual reports on the group activity to the ASA, submissions to AmStat News, etc.) The Program Chair is responsible for helping coordinate the JSM program, sending periodic reminders of upcoming submission deadlines (see Jordan Rodu's recent post), coordination of the allocated topic-contributed session that the group is entitled to, and selecting sessions for the group to co-sponsor when the overall program is put together.
