    Hello all,
We are in the final stages of preparation for the SAE-2024 conference (https://sae2023.pucp.edu.pe/), and this is a last call to propose sessions and/or submit abstracts for contributed talks. Please use the forms in the "Submissions" page linked from the above website. The deadline for participation in the conference as a speaker or panelist is April 10, 2024.
This conference will take place at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú on June 3-7, 2024. Travel to Peru is easy and citizens of numerous countries can generally travel to Peru for conference and tourism without a visa (including citizens of China and India who are permanent residents or have a visa with a validity of 6+ months issued by Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States or a Schengen member state).
The topics for this conference are broadly in the area of mixed effects models, surveys and small area statistics, and we are interested in talks on (but not restricted to) mainstream small area statistics, all aspects of survey sampling, record linkage and data integration, privacy and confidentiality, machine learning and its relation to surveys, non-probability sampling, Bayesian and other conditional inferential techniques, missing data models, superpopulation models, spatio-temporal statistical models and their interplay with surveys, along with various application areas. If you have questions on whether a given topic will be suitable for the conference, feel free to contact me at snigchat@umbc.edu. In addition, this conference will celebrate the 65th birthday of Professor Partha Lahiri of the University of Maryland at College Park. Professor Lahiri has been a leading expert and has made seminal contributions in the topics related to this conference, and we look forward to the honor of celebrating his birthday in Peru.
Please use this form https://forms.gle/WzPLEToLe2898VraA to submit session proposals. Invited sessions have 3 speakers, each of whom get 25 minutes for their talk and Q&A.  The person proposing the session can themselves be a speaker as well as the chair of the session.
If you happen to have less than 3 speakers (for example, you are interested in attending the conference but cannot find 2 other speakers), please let me know: we can put your talk in a suitable session.
    With warm regards,
    Ansu
    (SAE-2024 Scientific Program Chair)
