We are soliciting invited session proposals and contributed talk abstracts for the conference SAE-2024, to be held in Lima, Peru on June 3-7, 2024. Here is the conference website: https://sae2023.pucp.edu.pe/.
The primary topics of interest for this conference are small area methodology and all areas related to sampling and survey methodology, including (but not restricted to) topics like record linkage, analysis of non-probability samples and data with self-selection, non-response and other biases, modern data science methods and techniques related to small area and survey methodologies, applications of small are and survey techniques to various domains including epidemiology and health sciences, poverty estimation, economics, socials sciences and so on. As of now, this conference planned to be primarily an in-person event.
The SAE-2024 conference will celebrate the 65th birthday of Professor Partha Lahiri (https://jpsm.umd.edu/facultyprofile/lahiri/partha), who has been a stalwart in numerous topics in statistics including small area estimation, and has been a great patron of SAE conferences, We invite everybody to come together to celebrate this event in honor of Partha!
Several plenary and other special invited talks, short courses and panel discussions involving top government officials, statistical practitioners and academics are either confirmed or in the process of being confirmed. Details will be announced on the conference website soon.
