My research team is currently seeking a postdoctoral fellow to support an IES-funded research project that focuses on the use of text data in randomized trials. Please see the attached ad (and short blurb below).
The Harvard University Graduate School of Education seeks to fill a postdoctoral fellowship on using text as an outcome in large scale field trials of education interventions. We are interested in applicants with expertise in applied statistics, research methodology, or quantitative social science who have some experience with and interest in text analysis. While there are several potential directions for this one-year postdoctoral fellowship, the work will involve a mix of statistical programming, quantitative data analysis with state-of-the-art text analysis tools, reviewing the literature to identify new tools we might leverage for our aims, and writing of results in the form of academic papers as well as tutorials and other materials to maximize the impact of the work. The Fellow will also receive mentorship and training educational research methods and statistics.
