A New York-based stealth-mode startup venture created by a successful serial founder is searching for statisticians with a focus/interest in the nexus between cyberintelligence and predictive analytics. Candidates will work alongside our Python engineering team to review streams of structured and standardized SQL data scraped from the deep/dark web and help build a code-based analytical framework for broader understanding of hidden trends and movements. Candidates must have (at least) a basic statistical background, i.e., a BA or MA degree, (at least) a basic understanding of the Python programming language, and--as this is a startup--are able to perform their function independently of any back office support team. Familiarity with cryptocurrencies, the web3 economy, national security applications, and/or online commodities trading is a significant plus. Being that this is an early stage opportunity, the venture is open to hiring highly qualified candidates on either a consulting or even alternatively a full-time (remote) basis, with compensation being paid in cash, equity in the startup, or a combination of both. We are looking for creative minds with a passion for digging into big data.
