Dear Text analytics discussion group,
My name is Dr. Jesús Igor Barahona, Assistant Professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). I am currently preparing a research initiative focused on the application of text mining and natural language processing (NLP) techniques for strengthening academic integrity in higher education systems.
The project, entitled Academic Integrity Analytics (AIA Middle East), aims to develop an AI-driven institutional platform capable of detecting plagiarism, citation manipulation, papermill-generated content, and other emerging integrity risks through semantic analysis, stylometric modeling, and bibliometric network analytics.
At this stage of the proposal preparation, we are seeking to include an external collaborator. The current requirement is limited to providing the name and institutional affiliation of the collaborator. In the event that the proposal is approved and funded, we will be pleased to further discuss the outputs, which may include research papers and academic visits.
